REPO Operations
Absolut Bank offers the following types of REPO transactions:
REPO transactions settled through Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX).
The tenor of transaction is up to 14 days with possibility of prolongation. Discount rate is negotiated during conclusion of the transaction.
Absolut Bank makes REPO transactions with the following securities:
- Subfederal and municipal bonds;
- Corporate bonds;
- Shares of Russian issuers.
Over-the-Counter REPO Transactions with promissory notes of Financial Institutions.
Within the frames of this activity we offer lending at market rates for the term of up to 14 days with prolongation possibility. The transaction is done by means of concluding two contracts on purchase and sale of notes on the same date. The note value as per the first leg of REPO is calculated individually in each case on the basis of the particular note details.
