According to the November 2004 results, Absolut Bank has proved its position among major operators on the stock market of MMVB (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange), being ranked 28th in the activity rating of market participants with more than 2,1 billion rubles turnover.

Starting November 11, 2004 VISA–Absolut Bank plastic cards can be replenished not only at the Absolut Bank branches, but also at the exchange offices, situated at Oktyabr’skaya underground station, ulitsa B. Yakimanka 52, boutique Karlo Pazolini.

According to the October 2004 results, Absolut Bank has proved its position among major operators on the stock market of MMVB (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange), being ranked 29th in the activity rating of market participants with more than 3 billion rubles turnover.

According to September 2004 results the Absolut Bank has strengthened its positions among major operators on the market of the MMVB (Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange - MICEX) shares, being ranked 21st in the activity rating of market participants with more than 3,7 billion rubles turnover.

According to Profile Magazine of August 30, 2004, Absolut Bank is the 7th in the rating of reliability of the largest Russian banks.

Following the results of July 2004 the Absolut Bank was ranked 14th in turnover ratio among the major participants of the public securities market of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, having grown 12 rating points.

Summarizing the results of July Absolut Bank has boosted its position among the major stock market operators of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, being ranked 25th in the activity rating of the market participants with turnover exceeding RUR 2.6 billion.

The Absolut Bank paid out the coupon yield for the first coupon period on the 01 series bonds amounting to RUR 7,659m. The volume of payments on one bond made RUR 27.35, coupon rate is 10.94% annual interest.

Since the 22nd of July 2004 the Absolut Bank introduced the recurrent time deposit “Ipotechny”. The major advantage of this deposit is the possibility to withdraw it prior to the deposit agreement’s maturity without losing the interest accrued – upon presentation of a mortgage agreement to the Absolut Bank.

Following the results of June 2004, Joint Stock Commercial Bank Absolute Bank has proved its leading position among the major participants of the Stock Market’s Section of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, being ranked 47th among the most active stock market operators, with the turnover exceeding 1.1 billion rubles.

A revised version of Depository Procedures of Absolut Bank took effect as of June 7, 2004. Amendments thereto are subject to enactment of statutory instruments of the Bank of Russia in respect of depository accounting of government notes.

Following the results of May 2004, the Absolute Bank has proved its leading position among the major participants of the Stock Market’s Section of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, being ranked 45th among the most active stock market operators, with the turnover exceeding 1.2 billion rubles.

According to the Profil magazine the Absolut Bank is ranked 8th among major Russian banks in the reliability rating as of April 1, 2004.

The Absolut Bank reduces the interest rates for the VISA-Absolut Bank cards’ ruble credits from 24 % p.a. to 21 % p.a. This interest rate has been established for the tariff "Kreditny Klassika" (Credit Classic Tariff) of the VISA Classic and VISA Gold cards.

According to the Profil magazine data as of January 1, 2004, the Absolut Bank was ranked 62d in the Russian largest banks’ rating in regard to its own capital stock, and 23d - in the rating of Russian largest banks’ reliability.

According to the Profil weekly issue of December 1, 2003, Absolut Bank ranked 63rd among Russia’s major banks in terms of the amount of its own capital.
